Understand the condition

Start with
the right questions.

At Foundations, your history, examination, and goals guide whether chiropractic care, soft tissue work, exercise, or referral is appropriate.

Is posture the only cause?

No. Neck symptoms can have multiple contributors. An assessment considers your history and function rather than assuming a single posture is responsible.

Can I exercise with neck pain?

The appropriate movements depend on your symptoms and evaluation. Gentle, comfortable movement may be considered; do not force a painful range.

What changes should I report?

Tell a healthcare professional about new arm weakness, spreading numbness, loss of coordination, or symptoms following significant injury.

Make the program fit you.

The eight Foundations patterns organize movement choices. Accessory work and variations can be added around your condition, goals, equipment, and clinical findings. A condition name alone does not determine a safe program.

Background reading: NHS: Neck injuries and movement guidance. Exercise candidates also draw on the supplied Foundations working materials and require review.
