A plan you understand.
Tell Dr. Nick about your symptoms, relevant history, and the things you want to get back to. Your examination helps guide a discussion of appropriate care and whether further evaluation is needed.
Depending on your findings and preferences, care may include an adjustment or gentler joint mobilization, soft tissue work, education, and therapeutic exercise.

Relief and movement,
connected.
Hands-on treatment may help make movement more comfortable. Exercises can help you practice movements and gradually build capacity around your goals.
Massage: discuss focused support for tension and comfort with Hailey.
Training: when appropriate, build on your care with coached strength work in our studio gym.
Your plan may draw on all three pillars. You do not need to buy every service to start.

Will an adjustment help me?
Spinal manipulation can offer modest improvements for some people with low-back pain. Benefits depend on the condition and person; it is one option among several. Read the NCCIH evidence summary.
Do I have to be adjusted?
Treatment should be a shared decision. Tell Dr. Nick about your preferences and ask about options such as mobilization, exercise, or other care.
Will I need X-rays?
Imaging is not routine for uncomplicated low-back pain. It should be considered when findings could change your care. See the NICE low-back pain guidance.
What about risks?
Temporary soreness or stiffness can occur. Serious complications are considered rare but have been reported, including with neck manipulation; their frequency is not well established. Discuss your history, treatment-specific risks, and alternatives before deciding.
